2/27/08 Lux-Art Silks Breaks Ground on New Warehouse Facility
SARASOTA, FL -- Lux-Art Silks International announced that it has broken ground on construction of its new warehouse facility. Located adjacent to the company’s existing warehouse and showroom building, the new warehouse totals 20,000 sq.ft. on two levels and will serve as storage space only. This will increase the company’s total footprint to more than 50,000 square feet of showroom, design, manufacturing and warehousing / distribution space. Inventory will now be consolidated in one location, adjacent to the design/manufacturing center, for improved operational efficiency. The new facility is scheduled for completion in July 2008. Tom Wessel Construction is the general contractor.

Lux-Art Silks has been in business for over 40 years as a designer and manufacturer of permanent botanicals – artificial trees, plants and flowers – and sells to the furniture and interior design industry. The company maintains showrooms in Sarasota, High Point and Dallas.

9/28/06 Lux-Art Silks Remodels High Point Showroom
SARASOTA, FL -- Lux-Art Silks International, leading manufacturers of fine quality permanent botanicals, announces the expansion of its showroom in High Point’s C & D Building. With this expansion, the third since the company became a charter tenant in the building 12 years ago, showroom space stretches to 3,660 square feet.
With this renovation, Lux-Art created an open showroom by removing a wall of glass and creating an open air floral market feel. The renovation also included installation of new hardwood floors stained in ebony to contrast with Lux-Art’s collections of white floral designs. According to Lux-Art president Scott Brann, “Our line has expanded steadily, and now consists of 12 collections with over 800 product numbers, so this expansion became a real priority to enable us to show as much product as possible.”
Established in 1967, the company sells its products in all 50 States and over 20 foreign countries, and maintains showrooms in High Point, Dallas and Sarasota, FL. A catalog and pricing information can be obtained by calling Lux-Art Silks at 941-358-0100, visiting one of the company’s showrooms or the Lux-Art Silks web site, www.luxartsilks.com.

3/1/06 Lux-Art Silks International Marks 40th Anniversary
SARASOTA, FL – Lux-Art Silks International is proud to announce the company’s 40th Anniversary. Lux-Art was founded in 1966 as a designers’ resource for lifelike, finest quality permanent botanicals. The original owner envisioned a reliable resource for lifelike botanicals.

That mission has not changed over the past 40 years, thanks to the inspired leadership of Caryll Brann-Ziegler and her son, current Lux-Art president Scott B. Brann. Mr. Brann recently said, ”The company was founded with a strong principle – to provide a designers’ resource for lifelike permanent botanicals. My mother’s vision and her talent as a floral designer set the stage, and the performance of our design team, sales team and staff have helped us achieve even more than we imagined. I think she would be very proud. I know I am.”

Lux-Art products are sold in all 50 states and several countries around the world. The company now offers over 600 unique designs in several collections, spanning many different designer looks, from casual to contemporary, to sophisticated. The Lux-Art tree program offers an industry-leading selection of varieties, sizes and container styles.
